We hold tradition in the highest regard, and strive to meet your needs during this difficult time. Our Traditional Funeral Service acts as the foundation of our funeral home. A traditional service typically includes an evening visitation between the hours of 5-7pm the night before the Funeral Service. The Funeral Service itself may be held at our chapel or a church of your choosing. After services have been completed, a procession will travel to the cemetery and a graveside service will be conducted by the Clergy or Celebrant. At the conclusion of the graveside committal service, interment will follow as directed by the cemetery staff. Various elements may be added or subtracted from this service to meet individual needs or requests. The rise in popularity of cremation has resulted in an equally exciting rise in opportunity for unique and personal service. Cremation services can include: Funeral Service (see Traditional Funeral Service with Cremation) Memorial Service (with an Urn or Photo of the deceased) Direct Cremation (no services) We own our own Crematory, located on the grounds of Temple Garden of Memories, in Temple, TX. Each cremation is handled individually and with the highest regard to care of your loved one. We also offer a wide selection of cremation merchandise from Urns, to Jewelry, to Thumbprint keepsakes. Always remember to keep final disposition in mind. Cremated remains can be placed in a cemetery, scattered at a special location, or taken home with the family. If the third option is your choice however, keep in mind that some day in the future, someone is going to have to make a decision about what to do with the cremated remains, and we want to ensure that your wishes are carried out
Cremation is becoming more and more popular, but we also want to give our family and friends a chance to say goodbye to our physical self. The answer lies in a Funeral Service with Cremation. A Funeral Service with Cremation allows all the elements of a traditional service (visitation, casket, church or chapel service), while allowing a desire for cremation to still be fulfilled. At the end of the service there is no procession to a cemetery. Instead, the funeral home staff will transport your loved one to the crematory, where the cremation process will then take place. As with other cremation services, an urn holding the cremated remains will then be returned to the family.
Inspired by Christmas Eve Candlelight services, this service option is intended to allow a final, gentle goodbye, at the end of the service. Appropriate for either Funeral or Memorial Services, this option includes a candle and drip protector for every attendee, and the song of your choice to be played at the conclusion of the service. The service will end in candlelight, allowing time for silent reflection as the specially chosen song plays. Memories will warm our hearts, and light our path as we travel onward through our life, until we are reunited once again.
