Roberto D. Jimenez, 53, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on October 2, 2020. A private memorial service is planned for the family. Internment will be at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 3:00 P.M.
Roberto was born on June 9, 1967 to Francisco Juan Xuncax and Catarina Jimenez Pascual in San Miguel Acatán, Huehuetenago Guatemala. He is a wonderful father and a loving husband and a good friend to many. Roberto grew up in California and Florida graduating from Palm Beach Gardens High School. He then went to Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. Roberto worked hard and was a Supervisor for Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed guns and going to the shooting range in his spare time. In his younger years he enjoyed golfing. Roberto was the best chef a family could have. He was a devoted Catholic and a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Roberto was a proud member of the armed forces, ARMY, a proud veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his sister.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Jimenez; his sons, Ismael Lagunas and Adrian Lagunas and his daughter, Marcella Lagunas; sisters, Petrona Jimenez Gonzales, Dominga Jimenez, Nora Jimenez Diéguez, Maria Xuncax, Guadalupe Jimenez, Catrina Jimenez Perez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
