Obed “Debo” Isai Villaronga, 30, passed away on June 16, 2021. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on June 24, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights, Texas.
Obed was born on May 17, 1991, to Abdias Villaronga and Maria M. Velazquez in National City, California. Shortly after, the Villaronga Family moved to Virginia, where Obed spent much of his young childhood. When he was about 10 years old, the family moved to Florida – first Miami, then Orlando. Although he always carried with him a piece of his Virginia childhood and cherished his upbringing there, he developed many friendships in Orlando and eventually considered it his true home. For Obed, his friends and family were everything, and his friends were family.
Obed graduated high school May of 2009, then proceeded to enter the Automation Technology program at the Universal Technical Institute in Orlando, FL. He graduated from the program November 2010. In 2016, he studied at the Florida Career College and received his diploma in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) the same year. Obed has worked as a merchandizer, installer, assembler, reset specialist, fry cook and food preparation specialist.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Abdias Villaronga and Maria M. Velazquez; his siblings, Ruth S. Plaud, Joiecel A. Riviera, Xavier O. Torres and Milcah Villaronga; his nieces Alani D. Fernandez, Jade S. Mairena, Nina G. V. Lewellen and Ariela P. Lewellen; his nephew, Orion I. Mairena; two great nieces and two great nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends whom he loved and whom all loved him dearly.
