Julie Ann Diaz

1971 ~ 2021 (age 50)

Obituary

Julie Ann Diaz, 50, passed away on December 30, 2021. Per her wishes, no services are planned at this time.

Julie was born on July 22, 1971, in Tamuning, Guam and was the fourth oldest of eight siblings (Ray, Rebecca, Trina, John, Vicki, Edward, and Lani). She went to GW High School where she was lucky enough to find the love of her life and husband, Vincent. Together, they went on to start a family of seven that continues to grow to this day. In her eyes, her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She was also a mother to so many others. She had a beautiful heart and welcomed everyone, outcast and misfit alike, with the same love and care. She never wasted a moment to make each person that she met feel uniquely appreciated.

Those that loved Julie knew she was an avid crafter, an accomplished baker, and a passionate poet. She expressed her love for those around her through her homemade crafts and thoughtful gifts. She never hesitated to give everything she could, asking nothing in return, just to see smiles on faces. When she wasn’t creating something in her craft room, she was creating something delicious in her kitchen. Her family will miss her passenger seat dancing, her wicked sense of humor, and how she put all her heart into everything she did.

Julie was preceded in death by her nephew Glenn Mark Meno, her mother, Lolita Meno and her grandmother Maria Delgadina Jocson.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Vincent Diaz, as well as her children and grandchildren: Jon Diaz and fiancé Christina Arroyo, Francyn and Jayson Vondran (Jameson and Kaia), Tiffany Diaz, Kristen and Siegfried Winkler (Gavin and Amelie), Aleecia and Aaron Polson.
