Juan Bernal Quiros, 69, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home, in Harker Heights, TX. A Celebration of Life will be at 9:30 AM on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Southside Church of Christ with burial to follow at Central State Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Juan was born on December 19, 1951 to Simon Quiros and Leonor Bernal Quiros in Snyder, Texas. He graduated from High School in California and after High School joined the United States Army. Juan’s service in the Army took him to Germany where he worked as a Medical Specialist helping the Vietnam War solders. He achieved several awards in his service, The Good Conduct Medal, The Development Ribbon, Army service ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Driver and Mechanic Badge, The Sharpshooter Badge Rifle, Broadcast Manager and Public Affairs Supervisor. During his time in the military, he met the love of his life, Lucy Hernandez and they married on December 25, 1974. Juan retired from the military and worked in the oil fields then later became a over the road truck driver. He loved being with his family and reading his bible and his favorite verse is Psalm 139:14.
Juan Bernal Quiros was preceded in death by his, parents, Simon and Leonor Quiros.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his, Wife, Lucy Quiros; his son, Miguel Quiros and his wife Christina; his son, Amador Quiros and his wife Krista; his daughter, Maria Quiros De Beverly and her husband Ty; his daughter, Anjela Villasana and her husband Sid; 11 grandchildren and 9 Siblings.
