Jacqulyn Linette Jacques “JJ”, 65, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2021. Jacqulyn was born on January 1, 1956, to Sylvester Jacques and Betty Ruth Addison Jacques in Kansas City, Kansas. Jackie graduated from Southeast Kansas City High School in 1973 as a straight A student. After graduation she joined the Kansas City work force. She gave birth to her son Christopher 7 years later in 1980. Several years later she welcomed her daughter Tatiana in 1996. She retired from the State of Missouri after many successful years of hard work and dedication.
Jacqulyn was literally an angel on earth. She touched the lives of everyone she came into contact with. She was the definition of selflessness. There are not enough words to describe her loving and nurturing personality. If you met her, you will never forget her. In the words of one of her favorite singing groups. The Spinners, “if there’s a heaven up above, I know she’s teaching angels how to love.”
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester Terrance Jacques and Betty Ruth Addison, and her brother Sylvester Terrance Jacques Jr.
She is survived by her beautiful Children whom she loved and adored. Tatiana Mone Willis-Jacques, Christopher Damond Hayse, and Anne Marie Hayse; Grandchildren, Alexis Lynette Hayse and Terrance Robert Hayse; Two Aunts, Carol Addison Hurtt and Georgia Addison-Ross; Siblings, Gayle Anniece Jacques- Alexander, Charles Adell Jacques, Keith Lunn, Carl Lunn, Curtis Lunn, Leroy Lunn and Sheryl Lunn.
