Alexander John Frees lost his life prematurely on Monday, May 18, 2020 at the age of 32. Alex was born December 29, 1987 in San Luis Obispo, California to his loving parents, John and Karen Frees.
The death of our beloved Alex will forever be intertwined with the tragic passing of his fiancee Latoya Hill in August of 2019, when she lost her ongoing battle with severe asthma. The loss was devastating for him and now there are two losses where there should have been none.
Alexander proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a windmill technician in Texas.
Alex is survived by his parents, John Frees and Karen McCleery; his siblings Jonathan Weeks, Kathryn Tuleja, Meredith Wiley, and Darien Lohof; as well as a great many other loving family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom now bear the weight of his passing and hold him in our hearts forever. In his loss, we embrace life's fragility while we try to live every day to its fullest. In lieu of flowers make a donation to a charity of your choice.
A private memorial service will be held after the lifting of the Covid-19 restrictions.
