Abel Pando Guardiola, age 45 of Killeen, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Henderson, Texas. He was born September 23, 1974, in Quay, New Mexico to Candelario and Andrea (Pando) Guardiola.
From 2007 to 2009, Abel studied agriculture at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City. Following college, he joined the United States Army in 2010. Abel trained as a Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst (35G) and stationed at Fort Hood. He separated from the Army in 2017 as a Sergeant. Abel had many hobbies including landscaping, gardening, and riding his Harley. He loved animals and was somewhat of a “dog-whisperer” to the family’s German shepherds.
Abel was introduced to the Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club in the spring of 2016. He became a prospect just before a trip to Georgia to visit Brother Frenchie. Abel was known for being a very hard-working prospect. When he traveled around the U.S. for the military, he served brothers everywhere he went in any way he could. On June 29, 2016, he was patched into the club as Brother Warboy. He will be remembered by the Brotherhood for his willingness to give the shirt off his back if it was needed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda, and four wonderful children.
The family will greet friends on Friday May 15, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home, 425 East Central Texas Expressway. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. To make an on-line condolence please visit www.heritagefuneralhome.com
